Funeral Costs

About the costs involved and help that may be available to you.


When we meet to make funeral arrangements, we will present you with a written confirmation of all the funeral details together with a full itemised estimate. If you are happy with the arrangements and costs, we will ask you to sign our documentation to confirm you wish for us to proceed. Before the date of the planned funeral we require a deposit that totals the disbursements paid on your behalf (disbursements are payments to crematoriums, cemeteries, ministers, organists, newspaper notices etc). Help With The Cost It may be possible to recieve help towards the cost of the funeral depending on your circumstances. To qualify you must be receiving certain benefits.
