We understand that at a time of bereavement the simple and usual things can sometimes seem hard to cope with. At this time we are here to help, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If a death that has been expected occurs at home, the G.P. or on-call doctor should be contacted as soon as possible. Once the doctor has given authorisation, we can arrange to bring your loved one into our care. If a death occurs in a hospital, hospice or nursing home, you can contact us directly and we will make the arrangements to bring your loved one into our care. When someone dies suddenly, unexpectedly or as the result of an accident it will be reported to the HM Coroners office for further enquiry. The HM Coroners officers will guide you as to the process and procedures applicable to your individual case, however we are at hand to help and advise you if you are not sure of what to expect.
